Hi - my mom ArLene has probably already contacted you, but since I was the one that directed her to Anna I thought I would follow up as well.
Mom is 73 and very vibrant. She just lost her dog Madison last night. Talk about a loved and adored animal. She is a widow and Madison basically saved her life after my dad died.
She is so lonely now - but I want to make sure she makes good choices on another dog.
I need to be assured that Anna doesn't bite or show any sort of aggressive behavior. I have 3 small grandchildren and wouldn't want to worry that Anna might react in a bad way to my kids.
Also, she needs to be in good health and not showing signs of losing her hips or anything like that - needs to walk well on a leash (though I am sure my mom would take he to doggie school, mom is too gentle of a soul to ever truly "train" a dog to heel - the dog has to have a pretty good clue on her own if you know what I mean!)
Anyway, any info you could share with me would be great. I am praying that maybe God has put Anna in our path to ease the pain and loss my mom is suffering right now.
She is afraid to be living alone in her home, and still does Real Estate and took Madison with her EVERYWHERE!
I sure hope Anna will be a possible fit.
